Santa arrives at Peddler's Village As is the annual custom at Peddler's Village, Santa Claus arrived with fanfare during the Grand umination Celebration last Friday. Welcomed by cheers from thousands of visitors, Santa-along with CBS 3 Eyewitness News Chicf Mctcorologist Kate Bilo and Xander Abato, a fourth-grader at Cold Spring Elementary who won this year's essay contest-flipped the switch to turn on tho million lights that adom the Village during the holiday season. During the next month, Santa and Mrs. Claus will appear frequently at Ped dler's Villagc. They will be at Giggleberry Fair, the indoor family-fun center at Peddler's Villagc, every Saturday and Sunday, and select Fridays, through December 23 for photos. On Saturdays, he will be there from noon to 7 p.m and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m Giggleberry Fair will also host breakfasts with Santa every Sunday through December 23 from 10:30 am. to noon. These popular events include a buf- fet-style breakfast, story time with Mrs. Claus, special treats, a $5 game card and time to play at Giggleberry Mountain, the Grand Carousel, and Giggles Discovers This ycar for the first time, Giggleberry Fair will also present a supper with Santa. This special event, which will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, De- cember 4, includes a buffet dinner, dancing and singing with Lolly & YoYo, and time to play at the Giggleberry amusements, along with a S5 game card Open year round and geared towards kids of all ages, Giggleberry Fair is located at 167 Carousel Lane in New Hope. Regular hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 am, to 9 p.m, and Sunday 10 am. to 6 p.m Submitted by Peddler s Village
