In Memory of Kim Woehtates, 1960 2018 AFriend and a Colleague Kimberly Woehr-Kates, one of Bucks County's most successful and highly regarded realtors, passed away on August 7th at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from a brain ancurysm. A resident of Carersville, Kim was raised in Upper Black Eddy and is survived by her husband, Roger Kates, and sister, Robin Kim had a 26-year career where she represented hundreds of millions of dollars in residential and commercial properties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey Kim was one of the first successful realtors who created the luxury market in Bueks County," says Donald Pearson, chairman of Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty, where Kim worked for almost the past two years and quickly became the top-performing agent in the New Hope office. Legendary Work Ethie While Kim was well established in the luxury real-estate market, she handled properties in all price ranges, She had a strong work ethic and was devoted to her clients Kim has listed and sold numerous restaurants and other commercial, equestrian, and estate properties with some of the highest sales in the Bucks County area. Upon learning of her passing, many clients noted she was more than their realtor; she was their friend A Generous Heart In response to her passing, Kim was described by many in the real-estate community as a "larger-than-life personality and at times "a force to rekon ." but at her core she was deeply spiritual, compassionate, and extremely big-hearted. Those who knew her could not deny her generous soul. Although she was very outgoing in her professional life, she was a very private person and maintained a relatively tight cirele of friends and family. Kim was a longtime supporter of local animal rescue and other charitable organizations, She sponsored events which raised thousands of dollars over the years for the Bucks County SPCA.
