The show runs through Dec. 29. Á bespoke production, the Playhouse's take on Scrooge is inspired by Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and is set in New Hope. It features five actors playing multiple roles, mixing in local humor and references with the beloved story of how Scrooge fell in love with the holiday season.
