Local home builder TH Properties hosts Cub Scout troop PENNSBURG, PA Six boys from the local Cub Scouts troop visited a TH Propertics new home construction site with their five chapcroncs. Jérôme Besnard, the TH Properties sales manager, was on-site to meet them and give a brief over- view of the community and building process. After everyone was outfitted with hard hats, they toured several types of new homes that were under construction. As the Cub Scout troop walked through a single-family home, Jérôme showed them the wiring and pipes needed for each room and quizzed them on what they knew about the building process. Next, they toured sevcral townhomes that were in different stages of completion to get a better picture of how a house looks through- out the construction process. The Cub Scouts is a division of the Boy Scouts of America, and part of their pro- gram includes hands-on learning. Their visit to the TH Properties construction site is an example of how the Cub Scouts gct involved in their local community life. One of the great things about Cub Scouts is the real life knowledge we get to share with the boys. Our THP walk was no exception.
