I produccd that 1963 production of Lconard Bernstein's "On the show by putting together clements of the dance Town," which he produced and Jonathan Tunick opera and music departments. We also produced two other musicals, "Once Upon a Mattress," by orchestrated, launching lasting careers in those respective fields for both of them. Perloff was president of the student council from 196 to 1964. an original called The Wildbirds. These were thec longtime Juiiard board chair Mary Rodgers, and first shows I produced, and I went on to pro- duce shows my entire life. Jonathan Tunick did the orchestrations, and I think they were his first orchestrations "My stay at Juilliard was at 120th Strect and Claremont Avenue.
